(ACC)! HistoryThe ACC was founded in 1905, making it the oldest registered Canoe Club in Germany (worth a visit - just for the sake of canoeing history!). The ACC played a crucial role in initiating the DKV (Deutschen Kanu-Verbandes / the German Canoe Association) in 1914 and provided it's first president. Since then the ACC has played a leading role in promoting and developing German canoeing, as well as training athletes for international competition. Today the club has over 400 members ensuring that there is something for everyone! For more Information see History LocationThe ACC is situated in the north of Hamburg directly on the Alster
